Rescue details

Based in Merseyside, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming boxers in need. We have a no destruction policy and no healthy dog is put to sleep simply because they have no home. We house all boxers untill they find a new home, however long that may take. We use boarding kennels and our own foster homes. We are a small rescue and only take in a small amount of dogs in order for us to keep in contact with new owners and provide back up and help where and when needed.

BoxerBrunoDogBruno is a placid, calm 11 yr old boxer boy who has been with us for quite some time now with no interest :(
Bruno is a senior boxer who doesnt look his age! Bruno enjoys the quiet life, he will happily sleep all day and go for short walks. He would be best as the only dog in the home or with another oldie who doesnt bother with him (he isnt really fond of other dogs but will ignore them) He is great with kids, but would prefare a quiet life. Can anyone offer this old man a retirement home for the rest of his days? He is being fostered in Stoke.

Before you can adopt him you will first need to fill out our online application via our website www.boxerrescueliverpool.co.uk - click on APPLY TO ADOPT (please read our rehoming policies first!). You will then be homechecked to make sure you are the right type of home for him

As Bruno is a 'senior' there is no adoption fee for him, but a donation to the rescue would be appreciated

BoxerChampDogChamp is an 11 yr old boxer boy who came to us with Tyson, they are looking for seperate homes due to increasing jealousy issues with tyson and they are not getting on. Champ is a typical oldie boxer boy, but is still full of fun, he just wants to be cuddled and fussed and is very much a people dog. He could live with a female dog and he is good with kids. He has not lived with cats

BoxerHarveyDogHarvey Needs a home. Being fostered in Cambridge
Harvey is a 5 yr old gorgeous Puppy faced boxer boy who is in need of a new home where he can be the center of attention again. Unfortunately due to his owners daughter moving back home with a new baby, Harvey isnt getting the time he needs, he is quite wary of small children and seems worried by them. but has been fine with kids over 10 yrs old. He just doesnt seem to know what babies are!
harvey has alwas been a loving family dog, who hs good in the house and good with other dogs. He isnt good with cats or small animals.

Before you can adopt him you will first need to fill out our online application by clicking APPLY TO ADOPT on our website www.boxerrescueliverpool.co.uk (please read our rehoming policies first!). BoxerKaneDogKane is a 6-7 yr old Boxer who is looking for a new home due to a relationship breakup. Kane is a lovely natured dog, loves cudddles and very loyal. He likes toys and bones but not too bothered by playing fetch. He is trained to sit, lie, stay, leave, roll over, play dead and bark on command. Kane will walk to heel once he has had a run off the lead and can also jump obstacles. Currently fed on a dry food but likes a little bit of wet food mixed in too. Kane has been around children of 8-9 yrs of age, but will be best in a home with older kids due to his size, the children in the home should be taught to give him his own space too. Kane is good with small dogs, most female dogs and most passive male dogs. He is playful and sometimes this can be mistaken by other dogs for aggression. Kane was kept with a cat from a kitten. They would play and sleep together but I don't think he realised it was a cat! At relatives houses he chased their cat but once the novelty had worn off he left it alone. Kane is clean in the house and isnt destructive when left alone. He is being fostered in Liverpool at the moment

BoxerTysonDogTyson is a 7 yr old boxer boy who came to us with Champ. Both boys have been with us for quite some time now with ZERO interest :(
They are looking for seperate homes as Tyson is becoming increasingly jealous of Champ and is not keen to share any attention or his toys and food which has caused issues between them. He needs to be the only pet in the house as he is very much a people dog and just wants all the fuss to himself. He is good with other dogs outside of the house though. He is very lively on the lead and will need some training. Tyson is good with kids but has not lived with cats.

Before you can adopt him you will first need to fill out our online application via our website www.boxerrescueliverpool.co.uk - click on APPLY TO ADOPT (please read our rehoming policies first!). You will then be homechecked to make sure you are the right type of home for him and an adoption donation of £190 is required

MastiffHoochDogHooch arrived with us from the stray pound where he was due to be put to sleep. He is only about 18 months old and is still like a gangly pup. He is a Boxer x Bullmastiff (boxer body bullmastiff head!) and is just a big gentle giant! He is just a big cuddly wrinkly ball of gorgeousness who loves everyone he meets. He needs his boy bits off as although he is good with other dogs he just gets a little bit too over 'excited' but seems absolutely fine with females.
Due to having NO history on Hooch we will not home him with any young children. Hooch will do anything for a treat, sit paw, high five! He has met some other dogs and people and loved the fuss (but thought the rabbits were breakfast!) He got so much fuss and attention because he is just so gorgeous
