We are mother and daughter and extremely timid, Mary doesn't mind the occasional fuss but Lois doesn't like to be touched at all. BlackMeganCatMegan PR1322 d.o.b Sept. 2009 We have now discovered that Megan needs to be an ONLY cat. Megan had a wonderful home and her adopters loved her but, sadly, their other cat didn't feel the same way. Megan wanted to be the only kid on the block so with deep regret she was returned to us. She is a super friendly girl on her own but gets agitated and fierce when another cat invades her space. Megan definitely wants to be the ONLY family pet. www.petrehome.org ...F1-3Click here to see larger image of Megan
BlackTansyCatAt the moment I am living with a kind family who took me in when they found me living under a bush in all the heavy snow. I was wet and cold and desperate for a human friend. Unfortunately my new friends can't keep me so I was wandering if you could take me in? I am possibly about 10 - 12 years old and definitely need lots of company as I am scared of being left alone again. Someone who is retired and needs a sweet companion would be just great. For more info on Tansy or to adopt her please Contact Us... ...F>9

Black and White Domestic ShorthairedBooCatBoo is a handsome, energetic, bright young kitten at nearly 8 months old. He had a traumatic and neglected past but is a lovely kitten with lots of joy and love to give. He would like a home with another cat if possible to play with, he gets on with males and females but not very young children due to him not liking crying and screaming due to his past situation. We are happy to rehome him to a house with a garden but not on a busy or main road as he needs to go out and explore. For more information, please visit our website. ...M<1
Calico Domestic Semi-Long HairedKittyCatKitty was left on our doorstep by her owners and initially was very wary, frightened and unsure of us and would lash out if she felt threatened. Kitty underwent our rehab program and is now such a brilliant cat who enjoys a fuss and a brush! She will sit on your lap for about 5-10 mins but then she is off again doing her own thing. Kitty would like an adult only home, somewhere she can go and explore (she has quite a high prey drive) and snuggle up by the fire in the evenings. Once she knows you and feels safe she is the most loving cat but there is still a bit of caution about her so she does occasionally swipe if she feels threatened hence no young children living in the home. She would also prefer no other animals, she may take to a quiet dog as we have had a large dog at the sanctuary that she didn't mind but he ignored her. ...F3-6

Dsh5 Male KittensCatWe have 5 male kittens looking for a new home. These boys are all short haired kittens, they were born on 27/6/08 and were part of an unwanted litter. These boys have been brought up in a family home and are very friendly, but at the moment are a little nervous as they have been taken away from mum, came out of a home and now in a cattery situation as you can imagine this is very scary for a kitten. These kittens can go in pairs or on their own as long as potential owners realise kittens are like children and need company, they do not like being left alone and will become destructive if left alone too long. If you are working we suggest you take two cats so they can keep one another company or if you have an existing cat so the kitten doesn’t get lonely. Cain is black and white, Eli is black and white, Luke is black and white. Butch is all black and Caleb is all black apart from a white flash on his throat. These kittens have had their 1st vaccination, been micro chipped, wormed and de-flead. We ask for a £70 donation per cat under 6 months old. For more information or to arrange an appointment to view, Contact Penny at the cattery on 01634 294831 At 6 months old the kitten(s) will need to come back to our clinic at 174 Walderslade Road, Chatham, Kent to be neutered (this is included in the donation fee) on a Tuesday or Thursday. These kittens can go in pairs or on their own as long as potential owners realise kittens are like children and need company, they do not like being left alone and will become destructive if left alone too long. DshCleoCatCleo is a friendly, black and white female cat. The last month has been very stressful for her where her owners gave her to a friend and the friend couldn’t look after her so she came to us. We believe her to be approx 5 years old, during her health check at the vets it has been detected that she has a slight heart murmur but this doesn’t affect her at all and the vet says she needs no medication for it. The only other problem is she does have a flea allergy so will needed to be de-flead regularly to prevent her skin becoming itchy. She is a large friendly girl who enjoys a fuss, she is good with other cats and has a nice friendly personality. Cleo is fully vaccinated, been micro chipped, neutered, wormed and de-flead. We ask for a donation of £65 per cat. For more information or to arrange an appointment to view, Contact Penny at the cattery on 01634 294831 ...F3-6Click here to see larger image of Cleo
DshDenzil and BoycieCatDenzil and Boycie are lucky to be with us after they had been dumped in the dustbin outside the cattery with their siblings. They were lucky to be found after they were thrown in the large skip bin, they had fallen right to the bottom of the bin under all the sacks of cat waste. It was a lucky chance when another bag of rubbish was emptied into the bin one kitten was seen and after removing all the black bags out of the bin the other three were found. The fate of these kittens could have been a lot different as the bin man were due to empty the skip bin and they could have been tipped into the back of a dust cart. They say black cats are lucky well these two boys definitely were. They were only about 4-5 weeks when they were dumped, so we think they must have been born in June 2008. These kittens should have still been with their mum when they were dumped and have needed a lot of work as they didn’t know what food was or a litter tray, but they have turned out to be very affectionate and playful. These boys are fully vaccinated, been micro chipped, wormed and de-flead.
